Six layers of protection.

Every item Xene receives is covered by a continuous chain of insurance and physical protection, from your door to ours and back, and for life thereafter. Below is the full architecture.

1. 01

   In transit, to us

   From the moment an item leaves your possession in the hands of our appointed courier (Malca-Amit, Brink's, Ferrari Group or Loomis depending on origin and value), it is covered by our blanket Hiscox policy up to £5m per parcel. For items above that limit we arrange bespoke cover before shipment is authorised — never afterwards.

2. 02

   On receipt

   Items are signed in by two specialists, photographed, weighed and assigned a chain-of-custody reference within four hours of arrival. They are placed in our Class III vault immediately unless under active examination.

3. 03

   Under examination

   Items leave the vault only with a signed-out movement ticket. Examination rooms have CCTV, controlled-access biometric locks, and acoustic monitoring. No examination ever takes place outside the Hatton Garden premises except by Private Office on-site engagement.

4. 04

   In the vault

   A Class III rated vault, certified by Eurograde, with twin-key access, motion and seismic sensors, and triple-redundant power on the alarms. Insurance and inventory are reconciled monthly by an external auditor.

5. 05

   In return transit

   Returned to you by the same courier protocol, signed for on collection. Insurance remains continuous from our door to yours.

6. 06

   After certification

   Every certificate carries a transferable lifetime guarantee of authenticity, underwritten by Lloyd's of London policy LM/2024/8841. If a Xene-certified item is proven inauthentic at any future date, the bearer is compensated at prevailing market value. The guarantee is not limited by time, ownership change or jurisdiction.
